The Alibaba Cloud x KrASIA Global Startup Accelerator is back with another event! By bringing together technologists, venture capitalists, and entrepreneurs in Asia, this program identifies startups that are compatible with Alibaba’s ecosystem.
Over the past few months, this series of Demo Days has attracted more than 800 applications. The startups that vied for spots at these events operate in healthcare, education, enterprise services, environmental sustainability, and many more sectors. This time, we will focus on teams that are creating solutions for users and clients in Vietnam.
Registration for the Vietnam Demo Day—which is specifically for startups based in, operating in, or have plans to enter the country—is now open and will run until April 18, 11:59 a.m. (GMT +7). The Demo Day will take place on April 28, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. (GMT +7).
Alibaba Cloud welcomes startups from any country, industry, and that are operating at any stage.
Startups that take part in the Demo Day may win the following prizes:
- USD 60,000 in Alibaba Cloud credits.
- 1-on-1 technical support for setup and migration.
- Connections to top VCs in Southeast Asia and China.
- Profiles published in English and Chinese by KrASIA and 36Kr Global,and other publicity opportunities.
All startups that complete the registration process will also receive USD 3,000 in Alibaba Cloud credits, which can be used after April 28, 2022.
The selection process begins after the registration portal closes. This Demo Day’s judges include representatives of Alibaba Cloud and ThinkZone Ventures. They will evaluate each company’s deck when selecting startups for the Demo Day. The full selection criteria is available on Alibaba Cloud x KrASIA Global Startup Accelerator’s official website.
Here’s what you need to provide when you register:
- Your startup’s name
- Main point of contact’s details, including full name, mobile number, and business email address
- Your startup’s funding stage
- PDF of your corporate deck
