Hey there. It’s Brady again.

You’ve seen us plug the Demo Days for the Alibaba Cloud x KrASIA Global Startup Accelerator before. KrASIA has been visiting emerging companies in East and Southeast Asia to discover the next big project.

Our second stop in Indonesia led us to a cluster of startups that were solving significant but overlooked problems in the lives of people in the country.

The winner, Prosa.ai, is developing the building blocks for natural language processing in the context of Bahasa Indonesia. CeriTech is using IoT to improve coffee production, starting with the fermentation process. Jaramba is simplifying commutes that involve public transportation by charting routes and integrating phone-based payment options.

Soul Parking makes systems to stack motorcycles for storage, minimizing their footprint when parked. Ayoblajar is creating a new attitude and outlook for education. MyRobin matches blue-collar workers with jobs.

Kebizz automates the production of financial reports and generates analytics for MSMEs. And Roote Trails offers an app that makes travel in Indonesia more interactive and enjoyable.

This was a wide range of startups that operate in disparate spaces, and reflects the diversity of applications KrASIA receives.

Keep an eye out for our next Demo Days as we make stops in Singapore, Thailand, and more locations in Southeast Asia.
