Elevarm raises USD 4.25 million to expand horticulture solutions in Indonesia

Elevarm, an Indonesia-based agritech company focused on improving farmer productivity and advancing sustainable horticulture practices, has raised USD 4.25 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Intudo Ventures. Existing investors Insignia Ventures Partners and 500 Global also participated.

Founded in 2022, Elevarm provides high-quality agricultural inputs, including premium seeds, bio-based fertilizers, and eco-friendly pest control solutions. Its R&D arm, NextBio, is dedicated to developing innovative farming inputs that enhance soil health, biodiversity, and crop resilience. The company also supplies greenhouse-grown seedlings to help smallholder farmers improve yields and ensure more consistent harvests.

Elevarm currently operates in West Java, Central Java, and Yogyakarta through partnerships with various stakeholders, including financial institutions. It also runs a digital platform that offers real-time, data-driven recommendations to optimize cultivation techniques, reduce environmental impact, and improve farm efficiency.

With the new funding, Elevarm plans to expand its seedling offerings, develop additional bio-based fertilizers and pest control solutions through NextBio, and introduce AI-powered digital tools to enhance precision farming.

Shoppable raises USD 1.16 million to transform B2B supply chains in the Philippines

Shoppable, a supply chain technology startup, has raised USD 1.16 million in a seed round led by Ignite House of Innovation. Other investors include Tenco Capital, Indelible Ventures, ApolloTech Ventures, the Manila Angel Investors Network, Seaborne Capital Partners, and Select Ventures Holding.

The company provides an AI-powered middleware solution and a managed B2B marketplace designed to simplify procurement. Its flagship product, Quotable AI, automates quotes, invoicing, purchase orders, payments, financing, and product information management, reducing manual inefficiencies and improving data accuracy.

Shoppable will use the funding to scale its platform, develop a lending dashboard, and offer Quotable AI for free to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

SpaceIn secures funding from 1337 Ventures

SpaceIn, a Malaysian space tech company, has secured an investment from 1337 Ventures to accelerate the development of fully locally made satellites, aiming to reduce reliance on foreign technology and position Malaysia as a competitive player in the global space economy. The financial details were not disclosed.

The funding will support the advancement of SpaceIn’s sensor modem and ground segment for its SpaceANT system. The company also plans to test its payload in operational orbit through a host satellite scheduled for launch in late 2025.

Additionally, SpaceIn intends to expand into Brunei to support digital transformation initiatives using satellite internet-of-things solutions.

Okapi secures debt funding to expand in Southeast Asia

Okapi Technologies, a Malaysia-based residential solar financing platform, has secured up to USD 2 million in a debt facility arranged by Aquila, a sustainable finance firm operating across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam, according to a report by e27.

The funding will accelerate Okapi’s efforts to expand solar energy adoption among homeowners and small businesses across Southeast Asia. The debt financing follows Okapi’s launch in Malaysia last year, when it closed a funding round led by The Radical Fund, with participation from Ninja Van co-founders Lai Chang Wen and Shaun Chong.

Okapi’s flagship product, Okapi Solar, features a unique underwriting model and a point-of-sale mobile application that enables solar installation partners to offer zero upfront financing for up to ten years.

The company recently introduced Okapi Flow, a supply chain financing solution that leverages proprietary data to facilitate procurement, logistics, and inventory financing.

VentureTech backs Pomen to drive fleet maintenance digitalization

Pomen Autodata, a Malaysia-based software company specializing in fleet maintenance and workforce management, has received an investment from VentureTech, according to Bernama. The financial details were not disclosed.

VentureTech CEO Ahmad Redzuan Sidek said the investment will strengthen Pomen’s technological capabilities and support its expansion across Southeast Asia.

JigsawStack raises USD 1 million to develop AI stack development platform

JigsawStack, a Singapore-based AI stack development platform, has raised USD 1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Ada Ventures, according to e27. This follows a previous USD 500,000 investment from Antler.

JigsawStack provides a unified API suite that simplifies AI-powered product development, offering access to fine-tuned AI models that automate tasks across various tech stacks. The company launched the beta version of its platform in June 2024.

It recently introduced an open-source AI framework and is developing a multimodal embedding model for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications, supporting multiple formats.

Agros, Phnxx, Yinson GreenTech, and more made recent headlines:

  • Agros, a Singapore-based provider of solar-powered irrigation solutions, closed a USD 4.25 million Series A funding round co-led by Gaia Impact, Schneider Electric Energy Access Asia, and Wavemaker Impact, with new participation from Global Innovation Fund. Silverstrand Capital and PropertyGuru founder Steve Melhuish also invested.
  • Phnxx, a startup developing containerized battery and solar solutions, raised SGD 1.5 million (USD 1.1 million) in a seed funding round. Investors include Synertec, Engine Factory, Pacific Channel, LaunchVic’s Hugh Victor McKay Fund, and climate-focused angel investors.
  • Yinson GreenTech, the sustainable technology arm of Malaysia’s Yinson Holdings, secured an undisclosed investment from Khazanah Nasional Berhad through its Dana Impak initiative to expand chargEV, its electric vehicle charging business.
