McEasy adds AI capabilities as it expands beyond Indonesia

McEasy, an Indonesia-based fleet management and transportation intelligence company, has raised USD 9 million in Series B funding comprising equity and venture debt. The equity round was led by Integra Partners, with growth debt provided by InnoVen Capital.

McEasy develops data-driven tools for fleet operators, combining GPS tracking, dashboard cameras, vehicle-monitoring devices, and other sensors to provide operational insights.

The company will use the funding to accelerate machine learning and artificial intelligence development across its product suite, expand into other Southeast Asian markets, and support working capital needs for secured contracts.

Acrab moves agentic AI compute platform toward commercial deployments

Acrab, a technology company building agentic AI compute infrastructure, has raised USD 130 million in a Series B round. Existing investors Vertex Ventures SEA & India and Vertex Growth continued to back the company, alongside institutional investors from Europe and Southeast Asia.

Founded in 2024, Acrab develops a full-stack AI computing platform that combines purpose-built silicon, edge AI, and software orchestration for intelligent systems. The company said it has raised more than USD 350 million in total funding and recently emerged from stealth with its Agent Box platform.

Acrab will use the latest funding to scale its products, expand its ecosystem, and develop its next-generation computing platform. The company said it is entering a commercialization phase, with planned industrial deployments across multiple domains, and expects to generate revenue this year.

Recent deals completed in China:

  • Flysound, a hearing technology company, has completed an eight-figure RMB angel plus round. The round was led by Wisdom Asset, with Fangrui Capital serving as financial advisor and also participating. Flysound develops AI-powered hearing aids and plans to use the funds for product R&D, algorithm upgrades, medical device certification, and market expansion. The company is also pursuing medical device certifications in the EU and the US. 36Kr
  • Heguang Zhicheng, a Beijing-based AI materials company, has raised an eight-figure RMB sum in angel funding. The company will use the capital to expand its team and autonomous laboratory capacity. Founded in December 2025, Heguang Zhicheng applies AI to materials R&D and has worked with customers in areas including new energy, aerospace, pharmaceutical polymers, drug modification, optoelectronics, and photoresists. Its technology combines an AI agent for material design and synthesis with autonomous laboratories that can conduct high-throughput experiments around the clock. 36Kr
  • Elecod, a Shenzhen-based power electronics company, has raised an eight-figure RMB sum in a Series A round. The round was led by Timesbole Capital, which also participated in the company’s latest investment. Elecod develops modular power conversion systems for commercial and industrial energy storage, microgrids, and related applications. It will use the funds to build its manufacturing center in Zhongshan, expand its overseas service network, and accelerate the rollout of new products for AI data center power and solid-state transformer modules. 36Kr
  • Ommo Technologies, a spatial intelligence company, has raised an eight-figure USD sum in a Series A round. The round was jointly led by VMS Group and an undisclosed fund, with Bayland Capital participating. Ommo develops magnetic positioning technology designed to give robots and other devices precise spatial awareness, including in environments where optical tracking is blocked. Its system uses rotating permanent magnets and miniature magnetic sensors to generate and decode six-degree-of-freedom positioning data, reaching submillimeter accuracy within its specified operating range. The company will use the funds to further develop its spatial positioning systems, establish mass-production capabilities, and expand deployments in embodied intelligence, advanced manufacturing, and medical applications. 36Kr
  • Dewu Technology, a Suzhou-based metal 3D printing company, has raised an eight-figure RMB sum in a pre-Series A round jointly invested by GSR United Capital and Originvest. The company develops and manufactures ultra-high-precision selective laser melting equipment, and provides printing and AI-powered design services to customers in consumer electronics, medical devices, and aerospace. Dewu will use the latest funding to further develop its selective laser melting equipment, expand printing-service capacity, and strengthen market development. 36Kr
  • Squirrel Power, an outdoor mobility technology company, has raised more than RMB 200 million (USD 29.6 million) in a Series A round. Investors include Oriza Hua, Oriza Rivertown, GSR United Capital, Silicon Paradise, ThunderSoft, Guangyuan Hesheng Fund, Unique Capital, Shenqi Capital, Ondine Capital, and Chunjia Capital. The company develops electric and smart recreational products under the Evotrex brand. Its first product, the PG5 travel trailer, is designed around integrated power generation, energy storage, and intelligent energy management. The latest funding will support vehicle-grade validation and R&D, production line construction, and capacity expansion, with mass delivery targeted for 2027. 36Kr
  • Vecverse, a Hangzhou-based physical AI company for life sciences, has raised an eight-figure RMB sum in a pre-Series A round led by Taipu Life Sciences Investment, with Wanyuan Capital participating. The company develops AI-enabled laboratory hardware and software designed to turn scientific instruments into embodied intelligent systems. Vecverse will use the proceeds for core technology R&D, market expansion, team building, and working capital. 36Kr
  • Qingbo Aerospace Technology, a space technology company, has completed an angel plus round, raising an eight-figure RMB sum. The round was led by Mornway Capital, with Hunan Xingxiang Investment Holding Group and Taiya Investment participating. Founded in August 2025, Qingbo provides space situational awareness, space debris monitoring, and collision warning services for satellite operators and constellation builders. The company will use the funding to build its space object monitoring network, upgrade its space situational awareness algorithms, expand its technical team, and develop key customers. 36Kr
  • Talls Gear, a Shenzhen-based precision reducer company, has raised more than RMB 100 million (USD 14.8 million) in a round backed by Guochuang Group, Haichuan Juyi, Hangzhou Zhongshen, and Xinzhi Capital, with TPG acting as financial advisor. Talls Gear develops compact 90-degree orthogonal reducers and robot joint modules based on a toroidal enveloping worm-gear design. It will use the funds for product R&D, production line expansion, and further development of the robotics market. 36Kr

Bundle, Temus, ADA, and others made recent headlines:

  • Bundle, a networked rewards platform, raised USD 5.5 million in a pre-seed funding round co-led by Ethereal Ventures and Further Ventures.
  • Temus, a Singapore-based AI and digital transformation company established by Temasek, acquired Philippines-headquartered Thinking Machines Data Science through a strategic investment. Financial terms were not disclosed.
  • ADA, a Singapore- and Malaysia-headquartered data and AI company, acquired Algonomy, a provider of AI-powered decisioning technology for retailers. Financial terms were not disclosed.
