Enterprise Singapore, a government agency supporting enterprise development, on Tuesday announced five winners from its Founder Ignite pitch events. Each team received close to SGD 40,000 (USD 30,263) worth of resources and support such as co-working spaces and enterprise tools.

The champions are healthtech startups MediVR and Konnect, edutech platform Whyte Labs, B2B SaaS company Proccoli, and greentech platform 360Green. They competed with nine other teams across sectors.

Founder Ignite is part of Enterprise Singapore’s Startup SG Founder Venture Building. Announced in August 2020, the three-month program aims to groom aspiring entrepreneurs with no prior business experience to launch their own startups. Participants receive coaching from seasoned entrepreneurs in topics such as business models, digital marketing, and fundraising.

The program is supported by Nanyang Technological University, National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design, and Singapore University of Social Sciences. In November 2020, global VC firms 500 Startups, Antler, and Entrepreneur First were added to the list of venture builders.

Close to 150 participants have graduated from the program, with the majority of them in sectors such as edutech, healthtech, eldercare, and environment.
