The partnership aims to address the complexities of the Thai language, known for its intricate nuances and diverse regional dialects. By leveraging Chulalongkorn University’s linguistic research and Zense Entertainment’s resources from the media and entertainment industry, the consortium seeks to enhance the accuracy, fluency, and usability of Thai speech recognition technology to over 95%. This collaborative effort is poised to bridge linguistic barriers and facilitate seamless communication across more than 123 languages worldwide.
As part of iFLYTEK’s AI+media industry solutions, the collaboration will integrate features specifically tailored for the Thai language and its myriad regional expressions, such as:
- Smart real time text and speech translation which enables translation of multiple regional Thai dialects and various languages worldwide in real-time, catering to a wide range of applications such as international and local conferences, seminars, and events.
- Smart interviewing, a comprehensive recording and transcription system designed specifically for reporters and press conferences.
- An intelligent content creation platform offering comprehensive support for text, image, and video.
- Subtitle generation as part of automation tools for post-production editing to streamline workflows.
- Automatic voice-over broadcasting by virtual anchors for post-production enhancements.
