KEY STAT | China counts over 21 million ride-hailing orders per day

China now has a daily average ride-hailing order volume of 21 million, news agency Xinhua reported, citing a source from the Ministry of Transport on Tuesday.

So far, the government has issued 1.04 million license plates for ride-hailing vehicles and 2.5 million ride-hailing driver licenses. That means, one ride-hailing vehicle is taking roughly 20 orders a day.
