Two Tencent games and one NetEase game surfaced on the list of 95 titles approved by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television of China, the country’s broadcasting regulator, Thursday.

These top two players in China’s gaming industry had been absent on the lists of new approvals until this fourth batch.

The regulator started to grant licenses again last month after a 9-month freeze amid a restructuring of various government departments. No new titles were published during this time period, making Tencent shares plummet and forcing small industry players to downsize or even close down.
